Audible (experimental)

Play Audible audiobooks from your own library on MuPiBox – link the account, test the library and add audiobooks.

The Audible integration plays audiobooks from your own Audible library with chapters, covers and listening position shared across devices.

Linking the account #

1. Switch Provider active on and choose the country of your Audible account.
2. Sign in: Amazon/Audible opens in a new window. Complete the sign-in, two-factor code and security checks there.
3. At the end Amazon redirects to an address containing /ap/maplanding. Copy this complete address from the browser's address bar and paste it into the admin interface.

Your Amazon password and two-factor code stay with Amazon only; the box only stores the device credentials.

Testing the library and adding audiobooks #

The library test loads your library and shows whether the link works. Then add audiobooks under Media & categories with the source Audible.

Notes #

• Playback runs as an HLS stream over the internet; without a connection Audible titles are not available.
• The listening position is synchronised with Audible, so you can continue on your phone.
